Here we are into March.. oh my did I just say March?? My last post was Dec 06 wow where has the time gone… I know the first 2 months of this year has been so busy and flew by. Were almost at the end of the first ¼ of the year.. YEKS!!

Jan has come and gone not a lot going on, it’s seems so boring after Nov and Dec. But February was a wild month for me. I decided to look at homes and see if I could fine anything I felt I could afford with wanting to retire in 2 ½ years. So I looked at 3 places and was not impressed then on Feb 3ed I looked at a cute little 2 bedroom cottage in a 55+ community and feel in love with it. Made an offer on the 3ed and we closed yesterday. Can you believe that? Not one issue came up it flew though the inspection with flying colors and then was appraised at 10.000 more then I am paying so I did ok on that end. I am moving this weekend. Or I should say my kids are moving me this weekend. It has been years since I owned a home and really didn’t think I would again. I have to work a couple years longer but worth it.

I also got a promotion at work and will be moving into a different department and try something new I have been an Account Manager/Customer Care for 28 years and ready for something new so I start my new job on March 9^th.

I have still been going to WeightWatchers and doing good this last two weeks waiting on all the stuff with the house has been a struggle but I hope to get back on the right track and head down some more. I only have 3 lbs to go to my next goal. I make small goals so I feel like I am doing some good.

The weather like everywhere else has been nuts here we had a snow storm yesterday morning and I couldn’t get to work the I go so had to turn around like everyone else who was trying to get up the hill and hit the freeway and that was a joke. SLOWWWW moving. Yet when I crossed the river it was like a different state just rain. It was a very nasty day for all of Oregon and Washington. We just don’t get that kind of weather this late in winter.
